Sunday school classes and activities will be implemented in an atmosphere of warmth and fellowship where children and youth can experience the bible in positive and creative ways.  Children and youth will learn that they are loved by God and the members of their church community.  Throughout their Sunday school and Confirmation experiences they will grow in their understanding of God’s Word and what it means to be God’s people.

 Child Care
For children not yet of school age there will be childcare supervised by an adult and or high school student.
This will be provided every Sunday during worship and will be located in the upstairs lobby outside of the Sanctuary doors.

 Sunday School
Grades K-5
This class will meet every Sunday except Communion Sunday and the  5th Sunday of the month for those months having 5 Sundays.   Children will start in worship and go to  their class after the children's message.  The curriculum will be based on Bible stories with a focus story for each month.  On the final Sunday of each month a portion of the year end project for Children’s Sunday will be completed.  The class will meet in the Meeting House.

Grades 6-8
This class will meet twice per month, on the second and fourth Sundays.  The class will have a dual focus of bible stories and learning about the bible (the bible as a library of history, poems and prose telling the story of our faith, old vs. new testament, the gospels, etc.)  The youth will create the sermon for Children’s Sunday.   Middle schoolers will start in worship and go to  their class after the children's message and will meet in the Fellowship Room.

Confirmation Class
For students in High School who have not yet been confirmed.
This class will be taught by the Minister and  will take place on Sundays.  Dates and times TBD.  There will be a “community service” obligation, which can be fulfilled by assisting at Sunday School or Child Care Program, or at Church events, or outreach programs.

 Heifer Project
Children and youth can participate in a weekly Sunday School collection to support Heifer International, a global non-profit working to eradicate poverty and hunger.  The children would be raising money to purchase a farm animal to be sent to a needy family to help them develop a sustainable income/food source.

Project: Share the Love
This voluntary club will allow students in grades K-5 to do service projects that help the church or wider community.  Book drives, reading to seniors, making holiday cards or simple gifts to share with nursing home patients/shut-ins, making teddy bears or blankets for homeless shelters or Project Linus, etc.     This club will meet once per month after the church service beginning in  October.

Faith and Fun Family Activities
These activities will be an opportunity for families to come together to create projects that focus on love, gratitude, and faith or just have fun together throughout the year.  (before Thanksgiving, at the start of Lent, etc.)
